Sarah Cobley was born abt 1835, she was baptised in Publow Wesleyan Chapel on 6th September 1835. In 1851 she was employed in Pensford as a Stay Stitcher.

Sarah had the following child:

William Joseph Cobley was born 31st August 1859.

Sarah, then living in Blackwood,S.Wales, married John Hambleton and they had the following children:

John Hambleton born ca. 1871.

Joseph Hambleton born ca. 1872.

Jeffrey Hambleton born ca. 1874.

Oliver Cromwell Hambleton born ca. 1875.

Esther Hambleton born ca. 1878.
